Get Lost Much?  Check Out These Updated Maps of Red Deer, Blackfalds & Sylvan Lake, Alberta!

I’ve noticed that Google Maps, Apple (iPhone) Maps, Mapquest and maps of vehicle navigation systems are not always up-to-date!  That makes life a bit tricky when I take clients out to look at homes in the newer areas of Red Deer, Blackfalds and Sylvan Lake…  We depend on these “tools” so much these days.  Click on the city or town name for  links to maps for Red Deer (which is broken down into neighbourhoods), Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake and Summer Villages of Sylvan Lake.  Here is a map of where the neighbourhoods are in Red Deer: Neighbourhood Map of Red Deer.  This will help you if you are unfamiliar with Red Deer.

Neighbourhoods in Red Deer, Alberta

Red Deer has many neighbourhoods and sub-neighbourhoods (or extensions of the original neighbourhood).  I will divide them into North- West, North- East, South- East and South- West (as per 50th St and 50th Ave) and not include every sub-neighbourhood, so as to keep this a little shorter….  Click here to see a general break down of Red Deer Neighbourhoods (it doesn’t include quite all of them).

In the North- West, there is Fairview, Highland Green, Johnstone Park, Kentwood, Normandeau, Oriole Park and Riverside Meadows.

The North- East has Clearview, Michener Hill, Pines, Rosedale, Waskasoo, Woodlea, Timberlands and Garden Heights.

In the South- West, there is West Park and West Lake.

The South- East has Anders, Bower, Deer Park, Eastview, Grandview, Inglewood, Lancaster, Morrisroe, Mountview, Parkvale, South Hill, Sunnybrook, Southbrook and Vanier Woods.  The South- East is probably the most populated area of Red Deer.

Click on map for a selection of neighbourhood maps.

There are many schools, churches, shopping areas, recreation centres, green spaces, parks, trails, etc spaced throughout the city for everyone’s convenience.  With the outlying neighbourhoods always growing and expanding, Red Deer is a booming city in the Central Alberta corridor between Edmonton and Calgary.
