Cleaning Your Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV)

A Heat Recover Ventilator, or HRV, is integrated into the duct work in a home, usually located near the furnace. The HRV expels stale indoor air to the outside, and draws in fresh air from outside to be distributed throughout the home. You should clean your HRV twice a year, spring and fall, to keep it working at peak performance.  Click on the HRV to learn more about cleaning it!

Cool Ideas for “New Uses of Old Things”
